These little companions are playful, intelligent, and good watch dogs. These playful Chihuahuas are highly intelligent and they respond well to training. And they are an excellent companion, although their loyalty and devotion can at times turn into jealousy.

Dogs are born with strong natural instincts, including barking, digging and being totally lovable to humans.

When it comes to swimming, dogs generally fall into one of three categories. There are those that can swim, those that can be taught to swim and those that should stay away from all water surfaces.

Some dogs are natural swimmers. There are some dogs like Chihuahuas that are actually afraid of water so they definitely would panic in the water. There are also breeds that, due to their body structure, their build, legs, high muscle or heavy weight build, cannot instinctively stay afloat and swim. Some dogs’ build and personality makes swimming a challenge.
