Very clean, well-mannered, very affectionate, loyal and loving with the people they love and trust. This little cutie makes an excellent guard dog. However Chows can be an aggressive breed sometimes, they are very fiercely protective.

And when treated with love and respect, they are a loving and respectful companion who have a certain characteristic to attach deeply to their family.
