Brody, a 5-year-old beagle-heeler mix, can whisper on command and indeed is an amazing dog.

He was taught by his owner Holly, to use his inside voice when he barks. This dog responds to his owner’s request to “whisper” with a soft woof after showing off his ability to bark with his normal dog bark volume.

His owner Holly even said: “That video was the first day that he learned it! He knows what gentle means. If I give him a treat, I tell him gentle and he will take it really carefully. So after he learned to speak, I just kept saying “whisper” but in the same voice that I usually say “gentle”. It took him a little while but he eventually got it.”
