After undergoing surgery, Jack Daniel the Labrador Retriever really needed a hug. And so in the sweet video, the precious pooch reunites with his owner after successfully having a lump removed from his neck.

Jack Daniel’s dad is so happy to see him and gives him a long loving embrace.

And for his part, Jack Daniel wraps his front legs around his dad’s neck and rests his head on his shoulder. The show of love moves his human to tears and he gives his sweet dog kisses on the head.

It’s a moment of pure, unconditional love that’s heartwarming to watch. That’s because there’s no better cure than a hug.
